- Auto-population when filling out forms such as event registration
- Creates a profile – this is needed if you would like to show up in the Hall of Fame
- Allows you to register for newsletters
- Helps promote your personal brand, or team brand
Why do you ask for a W9?
FoodSport Consulting pays out A LOT of prize money! We must follow the IRS guideline on monitoring and reporting this which means we need a W9 form you so at the end of the year we can issue a 1099-MISC form. How do I find competition results?
We publish our competition results on the website here as soon as practical, however, if a sanctioning body is involved - Official sanctioning body results take precedence if there are discrepancies!
What sanctioning body(ies) do you use?
We can use any sanctioning body, a list of those we have currently run events is here https://www.foodsportconsulting.com/sanctioning-bodies
However, we also have our own judging methodology should there not be a relative sanctioning body, or if the promotor does not want to use a sanctioning body.
